SYDNEY: The annual Armenian Genocide Commemorative Lecture will feature a discussion with bestselling author, Chris Bohjalian, and is being held tonight (Thursday 26th April 2018), 7pm in the Auditorium at the Willoughby Uniting Church on 10 Clanwilliam Street, Willoughby.
Bohjalian will participate in a live Q & A on the topic "Literature as Advocacy - The Sandcastle Girls and the Armenian Genocide".
The discussion, which will include opportunities for questions from the audience, will be moderated by Houry Mayissian - a communications professional with journalism and public relations experiences in Dubai, Beirut, and Sydney. She has studied European politics and society at the University of Oxford.
The Armenian Genocide Commemorative Lecture, which has been moved from NSW Parliament House due to ongoing construction works, is organised by the Australian Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
