Kayserian said: "This just shows that Turkey's Armenian Genocide denial machine has lost control. A couple of weeks ago, the US House Foreign Affairs Committee passed a resolution recognising the Armenian Genocide. Last week, Sweden's parliament did the same.
"This week here in Australia, MPs Paul Fletcher, Joe Hockey and Maxine McKew have affirmed the historical truth of the Armenian Genocide in separate addresses in Parliament House."
He added: "Turkey's veil of denial has been lifted. Erdogan has shown his true colours, and in denying the genocidal deportations of 1915, Turkey has threatened another deportation of innocent Armenian civilians living within Turkish borders. This is just not on and the world must know and must act."
