COMMUNITY REMINDER
Applications for the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) Internship Program's 2020 Hagop Kortian Scholarship close on 30th November.
The Hagop Kortian Scholarship is part of the broader ANC-AU Internship Program, designed to provide internship opportunities for young Armenian-Australians at the office of the peak public affairs body of the Armenian-Australian community, as well as in the offices of Members of Parliament, Senators, government departments, think-tanks and media centres in Canberra and within state capitals across the country.
"We are inviting applicants interested in the ANC-AU Internship Program’s 2020 Hagop Kortian Scholarship, which will assist with costs of applicants as they find unpaid and/or paid positions in the offices of Members of Parliament, Senators, government departments, think-tanks and media centres in Canberra and within state capitals across the country,” said ANC-AU Executive Director, Haig Kayserian.
"As always, we have conditional commitments from Federal Members of Parliament and Senators willing to consider our interns for experience at their electorate offices and their parliamentary offices in Canberra. Successful applicants to the Hagop Kortian Scholarship will have their expenses covered while they gain this critical work experience."
Candidates for the ANC-AU Internship Program’s Hagop Kortian Scholarship should email their applications no later than 30 November 2020 to interns@anc.org.au including:

The ANC-AU Internship Program's Hagop Kortian Scholarship was established in 2018 and is a long-term commitment from the family, and in memory, of one of the founding forces of Hai Tad in Australia and founding member of ANC-AU.
The annual Scholarship totalling $10,000 is funded by the proceeds of the Hagop and Makrouhy Kortian Endowment Fund established in their honour by their sons and their families. Part of the Hagop Kortian Scholarship has funded the 2018, 2019 and 2020 ANC-AU Youth Advocates Programs in Canberra.
