SYDNEY: As part of the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) Advocacy Week 2011, the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF Australia) has announced that a live Q & A with ANC World Council Chairman Hagop Der Khatchadourian will take place in Western Sydney on Wednesday 23rd November 2011.
The lead representative of the world’s largest and most influential Armenian-diasporan public affairs and advocacy network, Der Khatchadourian will take questions from the audience regarding Armenian diasporan advocacy efforts and the international movement for recognition of the Armenian, Greek and Assyrian Genocides.
Bringing their respective communities’ perspectives to the Q & A discussion will be ANC Australia Executive Director Varant Meguerditchian, Australian Hellenic Council Representative Dr John Theodoridis and Australian Secretary of the Assyrian Universal Alliance Australian Hermiz Shahan who will flank Der Khatchadourian as he addresses the Western Sydney audience.
The Q & A will be mediated by ANC Australia Communications Director Haig Kayserian.
"This event provides the community, especially those in Sydney’s West with a unique opportunity to share an audience with the head of more than 30 ANC offices across the globe,” said Meguerditchian.
“We’re looking forward to hosting a combined audience of interested Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians.”
