
SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) has announced the appointment of three new Administrative Assistants to work in the head office of the peak public affairs body of the Armenian-Australian community.
Ani Poliopolous, studying a Bachelor of Commerce and Law at Macquarie University; Lara Ferhad, studying Management in Strategic Innovations and Entrepreneurship at the University of Technology Sydney; and Areni Kortian, who is currently studying a Bachelor of Communication and Bachelor of Law at the University of Technology Sydney have commenced part-time employment with the organisation.
Under the leadership of Executive Director Michael Kolokossian, they join the organisation’s Political Affairs Director Tristan Manwaring and Administrative Assistants Danielle Der Bedrossian and Sebastian Majarian.
Both Ani Poliopolous and Lara Ferhad are alumni of the inaugural Junior Advocates program launched in 2023 and part of the Galstaun College 2024 leadership team, whilst Areni Kortian currently serves on the Executive Committee of the UTS Armenian Students Association and is an active member of the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia Northern Sydney (Nigol Touman) Chapter.
