SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia's (ANC Australia) screening of Hagop Goudsouzian's film, 'My Son Shall Be Armenian' drew a capacity audience of 250 to Chatswood's Zenith Theatre on Tuesday, 1 September.
'My Son Shall Be Armenian' is the story of the initiatory voyage of Goudsouzian, who, accompanied by five Montreal men and women of Armenian origin; returns to the land of their ancestors - Armenia - in search of survivors of the Armenian Genocide of 1915.
Community Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Abolakian praised the community for their support of Armenian filmmakers and ANC Australia.
He said: "The truth is we could have sold this venue out twice, such is the community's level of support for ANC Australia and Armenian movies from around the world."
