SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia - Melbourne (ANC Australia Melbourne) has announced it will screen Canadian-Armenian Hagop Goudsouzian’s documentary entitled ‘My Son Shall be Armenian’ at the Village Glen Waverly in Melbourne on Saturday 1st October 2011.
The ANC Australia Melbourne’s screening of the Armenian-English-French language film, which follows the journeys of five Montreal men and women of Armenian origin who travel to Armenia, will be the first in Melbourne since the 2008 screening of ‘Dark Forest in the Mountains’.
ANC Australia Melbourne representative Chris Atamian said: “We expect many that many Melbourne Armenians will share the feelings expressed by those disaporans in the film who have returned to their ancestral homeland.â€
"We are pleased to be able to bring this emotive film to our community in Melbourne.â€
The film will be screened in the
Village Glen Waverly Cinema Complex on
Saturday 1st October 2011 at 8:00pm.
