AUSTRALIA: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) has announced an online fundraiser commencing from Monday, 18 November 2024, and concluding with the two Gala events to be held on the weekend in Melbourne and Sydney.
This initiative invites supporters from across Australia and the globe to join forces in supporting ANC-AU’s vital work in community advocacy, education, and advancing Armenian issues on the national stage.
The Online Fundraiser aims to engage the broader community by offering a digital platform for giving and involvement, which will directly contribute to the ANC-AU’s efforts to advocate for justice and human rights, and represent Armenian-Australian voices in political and public arenas.
ANC-AU Executive Director, Michael Kolokossian expressed enthusiasm about the dual approach to this year’s campaign: “We are up against our opponents, who have unlimited budgets in their quest to diminish your voice.”
“Our Online Fundraiser allows Armenians and friends of Armenia across Australia to participate in our mission. It all leads into our Gala events in Sydney and Melbourne, where we will celebrate our collective achievements and strengthen the bonds of our community,” added Kolokossian.
