SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) has announced Arineh Izmirlian, Noor Chirenian and Danielle Der Bedrossian have formally begun their duties after being appointed as Administrative Assistants at the office of the Armenian-Australian community’s peak public affairs body.
Arineh Izmirlian is currently studying a Bachelor of Law and International Studies at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Noor Chirenian is studying a Bachelor of Law and Commerce at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and Danielle Der Bedrossian is studying a Bachelor of Commerce at Macquarie University.
These latest part-time additions have been involved in Armenian-Australian community organisations, undertaking volunteer work and taking on several leadership roles.
Izmirlian has been an active member of the ANC-AU – Western Sydney Branch since 2021, while Chirenian and Der Bedrossian are active members of the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia.
Izmirlian, Chirenian and Der Bedrossian will work in collaboration with ANC-AU Executive Director Haig Kayserian, Political Affairs Director Michael Kolokossian and fellow Administrative Assistant Mathew Alexanian Mikhail.
Former Executive Administrator Sarine Soghomonian recently vacated her position after accepting a full-time role as an Adviser to the Hon. Mark Coure, Minister for Multiculturalism, whilst former Administrative Assistant Tamara Kotoyan has accepted a full-time position with Senator the Hon. Kristina Keneally, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs. Recent Administrators Siranush Massih and Hrant Boujikian have also graduated to full-time roles in the public and private sectors, respectively.
“We are extremely proud of Sarine Soghomonian and Tamara Kotoyan and wish them the very best in their new roles, where they will be able to showcase their amazing skills in the state and federal political scenes, respectively,” said Kayserian.
“The Armenian National Committee of Australia family is also extremely fortunate to welcome three new outstanding young activists into our office, who have expressed their desire to stand for the Armenian-Australian community’s priorities in public affairs while honing their professional skills during their university years,” he added.
“We are certain that Arineh Izmirlian, Noor Chirenian and Danielle Der Bedrossian will follow in the footsteps of their colleagues and predecessors and become shining examples for future leaders of our community.”
