
MELBOURNE: The Armenian Genocide Commemorative Committee - Melbourne has announced the date of the Melbourne Commemoration for the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide; taking place on 23 April 2025, 7:00pm at the Drum Theatre.
The Melbourne Commemoration will welcome Mr Gegham Stepanyan, Human Rights Defender of the Republic of Artsakh as the Keynote guest for 2025, who will draw on the parallels between the Armenian Genocide and ethnic cleansing of Artsakh in 2023.
The annual event will bring together approximately 300 members of Melbourne's Armenian community, as well as political, religious NGO, media, diplomatic and academic leaders from across the country.
The event is organised by the Armenian Genocide Commemorative Committee - Melbourne, under the auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian, the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Armenian Catholic Church, and the Armenian Evangelical Church.
