
SYDNEY: The Armenian Professional Network of Australia (APN-AU) Legal Profession Forum, in conjunction with the Armenian Apostolic Church of Australia and New Zealand, has announced a historic event, the inaugural Armenian Community Commencement of Law Term Service.
This significant event will take place on Monday, 10 February 2025, commencing at 7:00 pm at the Armenian Apostolic Church of Holy Resurrection, located at 10 Macquarie Street, Chatswood NSW 2067.
His Eminence, Archbishop Haigazoun Najarian, Primate of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Australia and New Zealand, alongside Armenian-Australian clergy leaders from the Evangelical and Catholic denominations will lead the service, which is designed to unite members of the judiciary, legal professionals, public service officials, and law students in a moment of reflection and community ahead of the new law term.
Following the service, attendees are invited to enjoy a light supper in Edgarian Hall, fostering connections and discussions within the professional community.
Alexia Ereboni Yazdani who leads the APN Legal Profession Forum and also serves as a Councillor of the Law Society of New South Wales, said: “The service represents a unique opportunity to bring together our judiciary, legal professionals, and students, in a moment of reflection and fellowship. This inaugural event is a momentous occasion for our community, and I am incredibly excited to see it come to life.”
