SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) has announced it will screen the documentary titled The River Ran Red in Sydney on Tuesday 21 September.
CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS ONLINEDirected by award-winning filmmaker J. Michael Hagopian, The River Ran Red details the epic search for survivors of the Armenian Genocide along the Euphrates River. The film features material from Hagopian's archives of 400 testimonies of survivors and eyewitnesses, including some who settled in Australia.
ANC Australia Community Relations Officer Stephen Abolakian said: "This is a must-see film for all advocates of Armenian Genocide recognition and for all seekers of justice. We are pleased to be able to give Sydneysiders the opportunity to see it."

As the 21st of September also marks Armenian Independence Day, a dedicated video will also be screened to mark the celebration.
