SYDNEY: As part of its commitment to advance the concerns of the Armenian-Australian community, the Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) approached and met with both major party candidates contesting the NSW seat of Ryde by-election, which will be held on Saturday October 18th, 2008.
During the meetings held with Liberal Party candidate Mr. Victor Dominello and Labor Party candidate Ms Nicole Campbell, ANC Australia discussed both Local Community and Armenian-specific issues.
Both Mr. Dominello and Ms Campbell were receptive to the issues raised and pledged to continue working closely with the Armenian-Australian community through its peak public affairs body.
