SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) has announced that Ryde No. 3 will host the annual ANC Australia Day on Sunday 15 November, which is being organised in conjunction with the Armenian Relief Society Australia (ARS) and the Armenian Youth Federation of Australia (AYF Australia).
ANC Australia Day is a family day for the Sydney Armenian community to get together and celebrate the successes of their peak public affairs body with family fun and games, delicious food and plenty of entertainment.
"This family day is a fitting way to kick off ANC Australia Advocacy Week 2009, and many surprises are in store for all those attending," said ANC Australia Community Relations Officer, Mr. Stephen Abolakian.
"In coming weeks, we will confirm details of special guests and entertainment providers for the event as we work towards attracting the attendance and support of our grassroots community."
Former Armenian Ambassador to Canada, His Excellency Ara Papian,
in Sydney as ANC Australia's international guest of honour for Advocacy Week, will bring his participation to ANC Australia Day.
