SYDNEY: The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC-AU) and the Armenian Professional Network of Australia (APN) have announced plans to host the inaugural Armenian Business Conference, which is scheduled to take place on the 17th of September 2024 at the Parliament of New South Wales.
The landmark conference, scheduled between 8:30am - 9:30am, will bring together prominent figures from the business and political spheres to discuss key issues, opportunities, and future directions for the Armenian-Australian business community.
The conference is honoured to welcome two distinguished guests: the Hon. Stephen Kamper MP, Minister for Small Business and Member for Rockdale, and Mr Tim James MP, Shadow Minister for Small Business and Member for Willoughby, both of whom are close friends and allies of the Armenian-Australian community.
Whilst the conference will serve as a networking opportunity for Armenian-Australian business owners, its key aim is to facilitate discussions between business leaders and key policymakers, where Armenian-Australians will be given the opportunity to provide suggestions and solutions to the critical issues they face on a daily basis.
Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of Australia Michael Kolokossian stated, “As a grassroots body, representing the collective interests of our community, our work wouldn’t be possible without the generous donations of Armenian professionals and business owners, therefore the inaugural Armenian Business Conference seeks to provide our supporters with the opportunities they need to excel.”
Chairperson of the Armenian Professional Network of Australia Vik Kortian, added, “Our community is made up of influential and highly successful business people who have contributed greatly to the economic prosperity of this state. Alongside the ANC-AU, we are excited to present this first of a kind conference to our community.”
