SYDNEY and MELBOURNE: Professor Richard Hovannisian, a living legend of Armenian Genocide studies, will launch the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide commemorations in Australia with lectures in Sydney on Sunday (August 4th) and Melbourne on Monday (August 5th).
With the 2015 upon us, this event will mark the beginning of the Armenian-Australian community's joint commemoration efforts to properly mark the centenary of our struggle for justice on behalf of the 1.5 million men, women and children who were massacred because of their belonging to the Armenian race.
Be there to support these activities, and to enjoy the pleasure of Prof. Hovannisian's company.
