Directed by award-winning filmmaker J. Michael Hagopian, The River Ran Red details the epic search for survivors of the Armenian Genocide along the Euphrates River. The film features material from Hagopian's archives of 400 testimonies of survivors and eyewitnesses, including some who settled in Australia.

ANC Australia Community Relations Officer Stephen Abolakian said: "This is a must-see film for all advocates of Armenian Genocide recognition and for all seekers of justice. We are pleased to be able to give Sydneysiders the opportunity to see it."
