About Us
ANC AUSTRALIA OVERVIEW

The Armenian National Committee of Australia (ANC Australia) is the largest and most influential Armenian-Australian grassroots organisation.

Working in coordination with a network of offices, chapters, and supporters throughout Australia and affiliated organisations around the world, ANC Australia actively advances the concerns of the Armenian-Australian community on a broad range of issues.


ANC AUSTRALIA GOALS

The main goals of the ANC Australia are:

    ·   To influence and guide Australian Government policy on matters of interest to the Armenian-Australian community;

    ·   To foster public awareness in support of a free, united and independent Armenia;

    ·   To represent the collective Armenian-Australian viewpoint on matters of public policy, while serving as liaison between the community and their elected officials.


ANC AUSTRALIA ACTIVITIES

The Armenian National Committee of Australia is proactive in a number of areas and engages in a wide variety of campaigns concerning:

     ·    Recognition of the Armenian Genocide;

     ·    Awareness of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh;

     ·    Awareness of the status of Javakhk;

     ·    Sustainability and Growth of the Armenian-Australian Community.

REPRESENTATION

ANC Australia directly represents the following 36 Armenian-Australian organisations with a collective membership of 5,500, as well as the wider Armenian-Australian community estimated at 50,000.
